$20,000 to fund leadership training, career field trips for at-risk Tampa students
We’re excited about a new partnership with Hillsborough County Public Schools' North Tampa Alternative School, which works to get some of the district’s most at-risk students back on track for a successful future. A $20,000 grant made possible by donors who have contributed to our Community Impact Fund will allow the school to provide the students with leadership training and take them on field trips to see college and career options they may never have known about. Our philanthropy partner Caspers Company also supports this school, as do several other Tampa businesses. The new principal, Cornelius Bobo, and Paul Burke, who works with the district’s Project Promise, are enthusiastic advocates for the students and eager to strengthen community partnerships like ours. #ProjectPromise
