INVESTMENT PERFORMANCE:
For the period ended June 30, 2009, the Foundation's annualized rate of return on its investments was
6.73% since inception. The majority of the Foundation's funds are invested with 14 money managers. The asset allocation is relatively stable with 65% equity, 30% fixed income, and 5%
in specialty/alternative investments.
Investment performance and asset allocation are under the control of an investment policy overseen by a volunteer
Investment Committee comprised of nine members including Trustees, Council members, and an investment consulting
firm.
The Foundation is also in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida in maintaining a gift annuity reserve fund.
OPERATING EXPENSES:
For the 2008-2009 fiscal year, operating expenses were $1,066,860. This is less
than one percent (.0098)
of the total assets
of the Foundation.
