to maximize your philanthropic contributions and actively avoiding excessive compensation and unreasonable or unnecessary expenses.  Our efforts have been recognized by Charity Navigator, a nonprofit watchdog group that rates charitable organizations nationwide based on their fiscal management record.  CFTB has achieved a 4-star rating by Charity Navigator several years in a row and ranked number five nationally among nonprofits in administrative efficiency. Charity Navigator also noted that the CFTB is "tops in. . .  respecting the rights of donors," a reference to our privacy policy which protects the confidentiality and security of donor information.

  • are transparent in our actions and our reporting;
  • undergo an annual audit by an independent third party CPA firm;
  • seek diversity and inclusiveness in our grant making to reflect the changing
