Frank and Carol Morsani do not take their good fortune for granted. From humble beginnings, they have both worked hard to reach the point in their lives where they can be philanthropic and "give back" to the community. Together they have built a successful life and now feel a responsibility to give back to the Tampa Bay community.
Frank and Carol are passionate about the importance of a strong arts curriculum
in the schools. "Through the arts, young people learn to appreciate beauty
which in turn enriches their lives." The Morsani's have established a
major endowment fund in the Community Foundation for the Tampa Bay Performing
Arts Center and support visual and performing arts programs for school
children. They are currently providing a scholarship so that a Tampa Bay
student who wants to be an opera singer might attend The Juilliard School.
Because they care, the Morsanis are leaving a legacy to their community
that will make it a better place.
You, too, can count on the Community Foundation to turn your caring into
commitment. We make it easy to be a philanthropist, now and for generations
to come. Establish your fund to benefit any field you choose or help one
or more nonprofits flourish because of grants from your fund.
