Community foundations
came late to Florida,
starting in the 1960s
and growing quickly in
the 1970s.
The Community
Foundation of Tampa Bay
is a late entry,
starting in 1990.
Currently with
approximately $130
million in assets, the
Community Foundation of
Tampa Bay
is one of the fastest
growing new foundations
in the country.
We administer permanent
endowment funds for our
donors to support the
charitable needs of the
Tampa Bay area.
