2008 Fall Cycle Awards
 
AVID-Boca Ciega High School Transportation, lodging, and meal expenses for college tour for students who lack support and resources
Community Tampa Bay To fund 10 individuals for Anytown (residential youth leadership and diversity awareness program) for summer 2009 and enroll them in Youth Core for following academic year; 100% match from Children's Board
PARC To underwrite cost of formal training curriculum for teaching kitchen for hands on technical and employability skills for individuals with disabilities
Poynter Institute Financial aid for low income students to attend high school journalism program and offset costs of supplies, field trips, and meals
Science Center of Pinellas Co. For 50 elementary and middle school classes to participate in hands-on workshops in the Classroom Extension Program at the Center
Seniors in Service of Tampa Bay To fund direct volunteer expenses
for Foster Grandparents program
that provides daily literacy tutoring
to low-performing K-3 students
