The Community Foundation of Greater St. Petersburg was formed in September 2004 as a division of the Community Foundation of Tampa Bay. The good citizens of greater St. Petersburg have energetically joined together in embracing a willingness to build a better community through their support of philanthropy.

The Community Foundation of Greater St. Petersburg empowers donors by providing them with a means to establish a meaningful legacy through the creation of endowment funds.

Grant making is accomplished through the generosity of time and expertise provided
by the volunteer Council. They work in conjunction with the staff of the Community Foundation of Tampa Bay to identify worthy local projects.
