The Oncology Research Information Exchange Network (ORIEN) is a unique alliance of cancer centers with the mission of accelerating cancer discovery and delivery through collaborative learning and partnerships based on the founding principle of data sharing of key stakeholders and patient engagement. ORIEN was founded in May 2014 and now includes 19 members across the United States (ORIENCancer.org). In 2017, ORIEN established the New Oncologic Visionary Award (NOVA) promoting team science to find discoveries and advance research together. The ORIEN NOVA program is funded through generous donations to the ORIEN Foundation.
