What is the Tampa Bay Rapid Response Fund?

A collective pool of donations managed by Community Foundation Tampa Bay to address hurricane relief and recovery in the most effective and strategic ways. All donations to this fund currently receive a 1:1 match.

Who Can Give?

Donors who prefer to give broadly and let Community Foundation Tampa Bay determine where their gift will make the greatest impact. You do not need to hold a fund at Community Foundation Tampa Bay in order to donate to the Rapid Response Fund.

How does it works?

Your contribution is combined with others, creating a larger pool to fund relief efforts. Community Foundation Tampa Bay works closely with vetted nonprofits and allocates funds to organizations addressing both immediate needs and long-term recovery.

Anyone can contribute by cash or credit card using the form below.

Community Foundation Tampa Bay Fundholders may submit a grant request through the donor portal. Select Community Foundation Tampa Bay as the grant recipient and list “Rapid Response Fund” in the grant purpose field in the grant request form. Make your tax-deductible donation safely and securely. You can choose to make a one-time or recurring contribution via credit card or ACH/Direct Debit. A small credit card processing fee will be deducted from all gifts made by credit card. Minimum online donation is $25.
