For the second year, the Foundation’s South Shore Council hosted a free concert by the Florida Orchestra in the Sun City Center area as a way to thank area residents for their past generosity and to call attention to the efforts of the Foundation in the area. About 750 people attended the May 9 afternoon performance by the full orchestra, performing a program of pops songs with a pirate theme.
