Dawning Family Services (anteriormente Alpha House of Tampa) crea un cambio sostenible en las vidas de las familias más vulnerables de nuestra comunidad que corren el riesgo de quedarse sin hogar o de experimentar la falta de hogar.

In 2018, our mission expanded from assisting only mothers and children, to providing services for the modern family including single mothers, single fathers, couples, multi-generational, and LGBTQ+ families with minor children.

Services include homeless prevention, emergency bridge housing, rapid rehousing, and employment services. As the only low-barrier shelter in Hillsborough County, Dawning Family Services focuses on the Housing First approach, placing families in emergency, safe housing, and providing wrap-around case management solutions to create sustainable change in their lives.

Over 80% of our families move into permanent housing within 60 days of emergency bridge housing. Once permanent housing is achieved, families may continue receiving case management services, to ensure that they do not fall back into homelessness.
