The Annual Competitive Grants process is an important way for Community Foundation Tampa Bay to learn about and support the work of local nonprofits. This process funds programs that fall within our five focus areas: economic opportunity, environmental resiliency and sustainability, physical health and mental wellbeing, quality child and youth education, and vibrant and engaged communities. This is an annual, multi-step process for funding.

The Critical Needs List offers nonprofits an opportunity to receive support towards one-time, urgent, and unexpected needs that impede the delivery of mission-critical programming. This is not a competitive grant process, rather an innovative way to share a specific need with us, our fundholders and other philanthropists in the Tampa Bay community. This is a rolling submission process open throughout the year.
