The Florence Ackey Resilient Futures Fund

The Florence Ackey Resilient Futures Fund was established to honor the enduring legacy of Florence Ackey, whose more than two decades of service have profoundly supported refugee and migrant women and their families. Through her leadership, compassion, and commitment to community empowerment, she has helped create pathways to stability, opportunity, and belonging for countless individuals.

This endowment provides financial support to refugee and migrant women, as well as family members of refugee women, to pursue education, vocational training, or workforce development opportunities.

The goal is to reduce barriers to access and empower recipients to build sustainable livelihoods, achieve personal and professional goals, and contribute to the resilience of their communities.

Rooted in the values of equity, dignity, and opportunity, the scholarship prioritizes individuals who demonstrate perseverance, commitment to growth, and a desire to give back to their communities. By investing in education and skill development, the Florence Ackey Resilient Futures Scholarship seeks to foster long-term empowerment and strengthen community resilience across generations.
