Community Foundation Tampa Bay welcomes Barry Alpert to the Board of Trustees

Barry Alpert, as the founder of Alpert Financial Group, Inc., has extensive experience in the banking and insurance industries, having served as Chairman, Director, President and Chief Executive Officer of numerous financial services companies.

Since his move to Florida in 1971, Mr. Alpert has also been actively involved in many local charitable endeavors as a Chairman, member or on the Board of Trustees of numerous organizations including:  Florida Real Estate Commission, Tampa Bay Partnership, Florida House, Tampa Bay Research Institute, The Florida Orchestra, North Suncoast Symphony Guild, Jewish Federation of Pinellas County, TOP Jewish Foundation, Menorah Manor, Jewish Community Center of Pinellas County, Florida Holocaust Museum and Education Center, Temple B’Nai Israel, Ruth Eckerd Hall, United Way Pinellas County, All Children’s Hospital, Cottingham School – Gulf Beaches.
