”Thanks to the Community Foundation of Tampa Bay we have been able to prevent over 400 families from going homeless and/or losing services due to the impacts of COVID 19. In addition we have served over 3,000 individuals and families by grocery delivery, clothing, hygiene items, diapers, and access to additional basic necessities for those experiencing homelessness and low-income situations.
Many families have never had to think about where they would get food if they couldn’t afford it, and how they would pay their rent or bills if someone in their household lost a job. After COVID 19 Reach St.Pete alongside many other amazing Tampa Bay nonprofits pivoted our efforts to meet the pressing needs of the community. With tears in my eyes I can’t adequately express what The Community Foundation of Tampa Bay has done for our clients and local community. The community needs hope right now and this foundation has played a large role in doing just that. ”
