What is the Tampa Bay Rapid Response Fund?

A collective pool of donations managed by Community Foundation Tampa Bay to address hurricane relief and recovery in the most effective and strategic ways. All donations to this fund currently receive a 1:1 match.

Who Can Give?

Donors who prefer to give broadly and let Community Foundation Tampa Bay determine where their gift will make the greatest impact. You do not need to hold a fund at Community Foundation Tampa Bay in order to donate to the Rapid Response Fund.

How does it works?

Your contribution is combined with others, creating a larger pool to fund relief efforts. Community Foundation Tampa Bay works closely with vetted nonprofits and allocates funds to organizations addressing both immediate needs and long-term recovery.

Community Foundation Tampa Bay Fundholders may submit a grant request through the donor portal. Select Community Foundation Tampa Bay as the grant recipient and list “Rapid Response Fund” in the grant purpose field in the grant request form.
