Unitarian Universalist Church of St. Petersburg, Florida, founded in 1914, is an inclusive, evolving religious community that inspires spiritual and intellectual growth to make our world a better place. We are dedicated to promoting equality, inclusivity, and positive change in the world. We are committed to serving our community and find deep meaning in our many efforts.

Some examples of how we live out our values:

• Advocate for the rights of those who are experiencing homelessness in South Pinellas County. Our members continue to be on the front line of homelessness issues with meal outreach, political action, and support to local agencies.
• Provide a warm meal and shelter for some of our most vulnerable community members in our Cold Night Shelter during winter months.
• Host our Friday Night Supper each week to community members that includes a meal, personal care items, and haircuts.
• Commit to social justice action, such as through FAST (Faith & Action in Strength Together). Pressure on decision-makers continues to be needed, including for affordable housing, reducing school suspensions, and making mental health services more accessible. Our participation with FAST builds power with everyday people in Pinellas County from diverse faith communities to create social justice through public policy changes.
• Offer progressive spiritual development through inclusive Sunday services, small-group discussions, pastoral care, and children’s education.
