Supporting Tampa Bay’s Universities and Colleges in Hurricane Relief Efforts
At Community Foundation Tampa Bay (CFTB), we understand that the impact of a hurricane reaches beyond immediate damage, with long-lasting challenges that ripple across every part of our community.
To amplify and inspire giving during these challenging times, donations to the Tampa Bay Rapid Response Fund will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $250,000.*
Now that the devastating storm has passed, our communities in Citrus, Hernando, Pasco, Pinellas and Hillsborough counties and our neighbors to the north face the long task of recovery.
In the U.S., the majority of all giving happens in the fourth quarter. There are thousands of worthy nonprofit organizations in our community, and near the end of the year, the requests for support begin to pour into our inboxes and mailboxes.
The team was honored to receive an Award of Excellence for our work creating the Nonprofit Needs List during the pandemic at the Hillsborough County Planning Commission’s 40th Annual Planning & Design Awards program on October 27, 2022.
